MACTORK ACA Series Compact Pneumatic Actuator

Introduction

Engineered for high-performance quarter-turn valve automation, MACTORK ACA series compact 4-piston pneumatic actuators deliver the superior torque density and space-saving footprint popularized by industry benchmarks like the Habonim Compact II series. Utilizing balanced multi-piston kinematics, our design balances internal forces to eliminate piston side loading, significantly reduce seal wear, and slash air consumption per cycle while achieving ultra-fast operating speeds.

As a cost-effective, high-efficiency alternative to conventional rack-and-pinion units and legacy 4-piston actuators, MactorK provides the rapid response, ISO 5211 mounting versatility, and extended service life essential for ball, butterfly, and plug valve automation in tight process skids and light-to-medium industrial piping systems.

Main Advantages

More Compact Size with Twice the Output Torque: The cube-shaped multi-piston geometry cuts total volume by 1/3 while producing twice the torque of a conventional 2-piston actuator with the same cylinder diameter, dramatically reducing footprint requirements for tight installations.
Balanced Force Distribution: Four racks rotate symmetrically around the central drive axis, creating a more balanced distribution of force and eliminating uneven mechanical stress.
Faster Cycle Times & Energy Efficiency: Shorter piston travel distances and smaller volume displace less air, cutting air consumption, reducing operating pressure requirements, and achieving significantly faster valve action.
Extended Service Life (Up to 2 Million Cycles): The reduced stroke combined with dispersing mechanical abrasion across four pistons sharply reduces internal wear, delivering a mechanical duty rating of 2 million cycles.
High-Grade Corrosion Resistance: Built for harsh environments and extended spray washdowns using a hard-anodized body (25 μm thickness, HV400 hardness, >50 μm coating) paired with a dual-layer epoxy/polyurethane coating on the end caps complying with ISO 12944 C3 standards.
