Introduction

The Bray/Rite® Wafer Combination Swing Check Valve introduces a revolutionary "Rite Sized" design engineered specifically to eliminate the standard pitfalls of conventional, full-sized swing check valves. Unlike traditional heavy-disc valves that require high velocities to stay open, the shape-optimized inlet ports and disc of the Bray/Rite® allow it to achieve a virtually unobstructed, fully open position at average flow rates of just 3 ft/s. By preventing disc fluttering and eliminating line restrictions, this high-performance valve drastically reduces pressure drops and the risk of destructive water hammer.

Available in sizes from 1" to 60" across wafer, flanged, and RTJ configurations, it is the ideal fluid control choice for pump protection, low-pressure networks, and pipelines with highly variable media flows.
